Digital Banking is the need of the hour and a necessary facility that every bank like to offer to their customers.  Increasing access to Internet Facility and growing Smartphone industry leads to further increase the need of the digital banking facility. In the current scenario of COVIDpandemic, everyone requested to stay at their home until and unless required to go outside, Digital Banking is the best and useful tool to offer almost everything with just a tap and that too without leaving your home. We have used the term ‘Digital Banking’ but what it actually mean? PSB UnIC offers almost all the possible facilities including Fund Transfers, Account Management, Investment, Social security Schemes, Tax Payment, Bill Payment and many other important facilities. THE UNIQUE THING OF PSB UNIC:

PSB UnIC app is a facility that can be accessed using any device, Mobile Phone with Internet facility or you can use it on Internet Browsers on yourDesktop PC or Laptop. This is one thing that make this facility unique and useful as one can access the banking facility anywhere anytime. The PSB UnIC application is available on both Android and iOS platforms and can be accessed on other devices that doesn’t support mobile application through https://psbomnigateway.onlinepsb.co.in/PSB/#/login. 

 

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

Registration is very easy and only take 5 minutes to start a fresh and amazing digital experience. Registration process requires Debit card details or Internet banking credentials and can also be done using e-Token facility very soon. Other details that you need to complete your UnIC registration includes Your Customer id, Account Number, Mobile Number and E-mail Id. Once you enter all the details correctly and validate successfully using One time password (OTP), you need to create your login username and password, MPIN and TPIN.

 

SAFE AND SECURE: 

PSB UnIC facility is very safe and secure. There is no compromise on the security and safety of user’s information stored in the app. The application is made in such a way that one cannot see your details using the Remote desktop software like Anydesk, Teamviewer etc that are most commonly used tools to make fraud nowadays. Further the web app needs an OTP everytime you need to login to access PSB UnIC facility and the smartphone Application can only be run on the smartphone in which the registered number is active. Punjab & Sind Bank also request the users not to share your account details, debit card details, CVV to anyone including the employee of the bank. 

 

FACILITIES OFFERED BY PSB UNIC:

PSB UnIC offers almost everything that we used to do in our day to day life. What I feel is that being a user of this PSB UnIC, I don’t need to go to my Bank now as I used to visit my bank for availing facilities likePassbook printing, Fund transfer to other accounts, to open or close Fixed Deposit or Recurring Deposit, To enquire about my cheques, To get the TDS Certificate,To avail Social Security schemes like PMSBY, PMJJY, APY or to pay my income tax but now I can do all this work in just a single tap and that too staying in my comfort zone. The other facilities that I feel is quite important and useful is managing my Debit Card that includes temporary blocking, upgrading or closing of Debit card anytime anywhere. This is very useful feature as many a time we lost our debit card in our home or office and don’t want to hotlist it permanently but want to secure our account from any unauthorized transactions so in this case temporary blocking of the Debit card serves the purpose. Features like investing inGovernment Schemes like PPF, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Senior Citizen Saving Scheme etc, Recharge and Bill Payments will also be available very soon that make the experience more delightful. 

 

My Experience with PSB Unic is really amazing. I am the one who has been waiting for such facility since my relationship with the bank and I am very delighted after using the PSB UnIC facility. PSB UnIC has changed my whole experience of banking with Punjab & Sind Bank and the same I feel for other PSB customers. Now I only need to visit my bank for depositing cash in my bank account that I do once in 3-4 months, technically I need to visit my bank once in 3-4 months while before PSB UnIC I used to visit 2-3 times in a week. I need to maintain different applications for doing different things like Need UPI app to make upi transaction at local shops and other UPI accepting sites or merchants, Need Mobile banking app to view account statement or to make fund transfers upto Rs.50,000 and need to use Internet Banking facility to make larger fund transfers or payments. PSB UnIC combines all these facilities in One Single Application. I can check my account statement anytime anywhere, make payments to anyone with no time restriction, make FD/RD Online, and many other useful features I already discussed above. The best part of the PSB UnIC is the modern look, richand colorful experience that I love to see whenever I open the Application. The statement generated through the Application is very colorful and informative. The TDS Certificate generator is the best feature I found in this PSB UnIC Application as the generated PDF gives all the information about the Interest amount I earned and the amount of TDS deducted during the financial year. I definitely recommend PSB UnIC app to all the PSBians. I also make a video on PSB UnIC and uploaded it on YouTube.
